Use this page to configure resources for the applications you selected on the Applications page earlier. If you prefer to use previously-configured resources, clear the Configure Resources check box for the corresponding application.
You can set up Direct Inward Dialing to route trunk calls either to specific users selected later on or to a destination determined by the digits that the system adds or removes from those it receives from the PSTN.
To set up DID:
Select the required configuration option.
If you selected DID range, enter the number of Digits to absorb (if any) and the actual Digits to insert. The resulting digit string must translate to a valid destination, such as an extension, hunt group pilot number, or speed dial number.
Select Configure Voice Mail Resources.
Select the Mailbox Extension Length.
IMPORTANT: A change in length from the current value in the MiVoice Business system will delete all user-configured mailboxes.
Enter a Message Center hunt group pilot number, the quantity of voice mail ports required, and the starting directory number.
If Configure Auto-Receptionist is selected, enter an Auto-Receptionist Group pilot number, specify the number of ports required, and enter the starting directory number.
For MiCollab Nupoint UM,
select the MWI (Message Waiting Indicator) type. The HCI (Host Command Interface) Reroute option avoids using a port.
enter a Call Coverage Services index in the range 2 to 255 (or leave the default, 3)
enable 'PIN Security for MiVoice Business Hot Desk Users' to route hot desk users to the MiCollab Nupoint UM IVR system and have them create a strong (resistant to guessing) login PIN.
Select Record-A-Call if required.
NOTES
For MiCollab Nupoint UM Voice Mail, select Record-A-Call ONLY if it is licensed on the MiCollab server. (If it is licensed, it must be selected.)
For MiCollab Nupoint UM Voice Mail, Record-A-Call port settings are determined by voice mail hunt group settings.
For MiCollab Nupoint UM the maximum number of MiCollab Nupoint UM ports that MiCollab supports is 32. For embedded voice mail, the maximum varies by controller type; see VM Port Capacity for details.
For MiCollab Nupoint UM the wizard creates the application ports with Trusted Service level. Trusted applications do not require IP user licenses to register and provide services to the MiVoice Business platform. Instead, they validate themselves to MiVoice Business using an encrypted handshake.
The number of Record-A-Call ports cannot exceed the number of embedded voice mail ports. This ensures that at least one voice mail port is available when all the RAC ports are busy.
A Dynamic Extension refers to an External Hot Desk User (EHDU) who belongs to a Personal Ring Group (PRG). Membership in a PRG is assigned later in the configuration.
To set up External Hot Desking:
Select Configure Dynamic Extension Resources.
(Optional) Enter a Hot Desking access number, callback digit collection number(s), and external dialing prefix. See External Hot Desking - Programming and External Hot Desking - Callback for more information about these entries.
To set up SAA:
Select Configure Speech Auto-Attendant Resources.
Enter a hunt group pilot number, the number of ports to be used for Speech Auto Attendant, and the starting extension number.
NOTES
When Speech Auto Attendant is selected, the service is enabled for all users by default.
The wizard creates the SAA ports with Trusted Service level. Trusted applications do not require IP user licenses to register and provide services to the MiVoice Business platform. Instead, they validate themselves to MiVoice Business using an encrypted handshake.
The resources for Teleworker are generated by the wizard and require only an Installer Password to complete the configuration. The password is used to register the teleworker phone with the MiVoice Border Gateway.
Select Configure Teleworker Resources.
Enter the Installer Password. The Installer Password can be between 5 and 10 telephony characters (0-9, *, #).
